Milk thistle oil is considered to be a valuable medicine and one of the most useful herbal products. This oil is obtained by cold pressing from the seed of the herbaceous plant, spotted milk thistle. It is also worth noting that it has a pronounced taste and has a pleasant smell of dried nuts.

- Milk thistle seed oil contains: Omega-6 polyunsaturated acid (about 62%), Omega-9 monounsaturated acid (about 22%), saturated acids – stearic, palmitic, behenic and arachidic.
- The usefulness of the product is added by macro- and microelements. This series is represented by substances such as potassium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, zinc and chromium.
- In addition to the above substances, biogenic amines can be isolated. These are tyramine and histamine. It also contains essential oils, silymarin, chlorophyll.

USE AND BENEFITS OF MILK THISTLE OIL

TIPS FOR USE OF MILK THISTLE OIL
- After the first use, milk thistle oil is advised to be stored in the refrigerator in a glass bottle with a tightly closed lid.
- Therapeutic reception – it is enough to take an incomplete teaspoon of the composition in order to achieve persistent positive changes and improve the general condition. This should be done in the morning or afternoon, on an empty stomach. The duration of the course is no more than 3 weeks, after which it is necessary to take a break of 2-3 weeks.
- In cosmetology. An excellent rejuvenating effect is obtained by using a mixture of milk thistle seed oil with almond or olive oil in equal proportions. It is applied to a previously cleansed face, neck, décolleté area instead of a nourishing cream. A mixture of milk thistle oil with tea tree or avocado oil helps to give a healthy color to the skin, increase elasticity, and remove wrinkles. For cooking, you need 3 tablespoons of milk thistle oil and 1 teaspoon of one of the listed oils to heat in a water bath. The resulting warm mixture is simply lubricated with cleansed skin instead of a cream for the night.
For healthy hair, you can add 10 ml of milk thistle seed oil to 100 ml of shampoo or balm, apply to wet hair, leave for 5-10 minutes and rinse with warm water.
This oil strengthens the nails well, so it can be rubbed into the nail folds and nails. - In cooking. Milk thistle oil should not be cooked. But it can be added to the finished dish immediately before serving. LIMITATIONS ON USE
