Rhodiola rosea is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows in regions with cold and temperate climates. It has a powerful horizontal rhizome, from 10 to 15 erect non-branched stems with oblong leaves and fruits in the form of erect greenish leaves.

Rhodiola contains:
- Anthraquinones;
- Coumarins;
- Tannins;
- Organic acids;
- Essential oils.
Effect
It stimulates the central nervous system, has a beneficial effect on the body as a whole. Rhodiola tincture relieves fatigue, reduces nervous tension, increases efficiency. The plant is recommended for increased mental and physical exertion, for asthenic conditions after infections, physical or mental injuries, hypotension, vegetative-vascular dystonia.
Cooking method
15 g of vegetable raw materials pour 300 ml of boiling water, insist, wrapped, 4 hours, strain.
Drink 0.5 cups 3 times a day, half an hour before meals.
Side effect
Allergic reactions are possible. With prolonged use, dry mouth, pain spasms in the heart area, increased excitability, nervousness, sleep loss and migraine may occur.
Contraindications to use
Do not use for individual sensitivity, allergies, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years of age. With caution, they are used for symptoms of nervous diseases, depletion of cortical brain cells, post-influenza encephalitis, as well as hypertension.
