Eleutherococcus is a perennial plant of the Araliaceae family, growing in the Eastern Asia, from the Southeast Siberia and Japan south to the Philippines, with the greatest diversity in the central and western China.

Effect
Eleutherococcus has an adaptogenic effect, increases the nonspecific resistance of the body. It has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system, eliminates fatigue, irritability, restores and improves physical and mental performance, protects against adverse environmental factors.
Cooking method
Pour 6 g of vegetable raw materials into enameled dishes and pour one glass of hot water (200 ml). Then close the dishes and put them in a water bath for 10 minutes. After that, the broth is cooled for about an hour and filtered. The resulting broth should be brought with boiled water to the initial volume (200 ml). Store no more than three days in a cool place.
Take one tablespoon 3 times a day half an hour before meals. The course of treatment is one month.
Side effect
Allergic reactions, insomnia, hypoglycemia, headache, tachycardia are possible.
Contraindications to use
Hypersensitivity, arterial hypertension (high blood pressure), cardiac arrhythmia, myocardial infarction, cerebral vascular pathology, increased excitability, epilepsy, convulsive states, insomnia, acute infectious diseases, chronic liver diseases. It is not recommended to use during pregnancy, during breastfeeding, for children under 12 years of age.
