Effect
Thyme is used as an effective expectorant, prescribed for asthma and tuberculosis. It helps with depression, fatigue, neurasthenia, bad breath, and is also indispensable for men’s health. It is used in cooking to facilitate the assimilation of food.
Cooking method
About 10 g (2-3 tablespoons) of herbs are placed in an enameled dish, 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water is poured, covered and infused in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water .
Inside, take 1 tablespoon of warm infusion 2-3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
Topically, for rinsing the mouth and pharynx, apply ½–1 cup of warm infusion 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
