Nettle is a perennial herbaceous dioecious plant of the Nettle family up to 150 cm tall, with a powerful creeping rhizome. The leaves are heart-shaped, the flowers are small, green, collected in hanging inflorescences.
Vitamin composition
The composition includes:

- Ascorbic acid;
- Carotenoids;
- Chlorophyll;
- Pantothenic acid;
- Flavonoids;
- Organic acids;
- Tannins.
Effect
Nettle has a hemostatic, diuretic, choleretic, restorative effect, normalizes lipid metabolism, promotes regeneration of the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract, increases the number of red blood cells, has a vasoconstrictive effect.
Cooking method
3 g of raw materials are placed in a glass or enameled dish, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover with a lid and insist for 15 minutes, filter. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 100 ml with boiled water .
Taken orally as an infusion, adults and children from 12 years of age take 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day 30 minutes before meals.
Side effect
With prolonged use, in some cases, allergic reactions, hypercoagulation are observed.
Contraindications to use
Do not use with individual sensitivity, pregnancy and lactation, allergies, varicose veins, thrombophlebitis, renal insufficiency, gynecological tumors, use with antidepressants.
