Bearberry is a perennial shrub with a height of 5-30 cm . The leaves are oblong, rounded at the top, light green, matte from below, dark green, shiny from above, with a well—distinguishable mesh of depressed veins.

Effect
Bearberry helps with heart and joint diseases, cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, venereal diseases. The plant is used for ulcers, eczema, edema, tumors, insomnia, depression, alcoholism.
Cooking method
About 10 g (1 tablespoon) of crushed bearberry leaves are placed in an enameled dish, 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and insisted on a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, filtered without cooling, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water .
They are taken orally in a warm form, 1 tablespoon 3-5 times a day 40 minutes after meals. The course of treatment is 20-25 days. It is possible to repeat the course after a 10-12 day break, but no more than 4 courses per year. It is recommended to shake the broth before use.
Side effect
Allergic reactions, exacerbation of inflammatory kidney diseases as a result of prolonged irritation of the renal tubules, nausea, vomiting, tinnitus, back pain are possible.
Contraindications to use
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years of age, kidney failure, chronic constipation.
