Oak is a large deciduous tree of the Beech family with dense wood and peculiar carved leaves.
Vitamin composition
The composition includes:
- Pectin substances;
- Pentosans;
- Free acids;
- Flavonoids;
- Tannins.
Effect
Oak bark has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and astringent properties, provides scarring. Bark is prescribed for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, lesions of the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, gynecological problems, slow healing wounds.
Cooking method
2 tbsp. l. bark is placed in an enameled dish, poured with 1 cup of hot water, covered with a lid and heated in a water bath for 30 minutes with frequent stirring. Cool for 10 minutes at room temperature, filter, squeeze. The volume of the resulting broth is brought to 200 ml with boiled water .
Use 100-200 ml. from 6 to 8 times a day during rinsing and rinsing.
Side effect
With prolonged use of decoction of oak bark for mouthwash, in some cases there is a decrease in sense of smell and taste sensations. Allergic reactions are possible.
Contraindications to use
Do not use with individual sensitivity, allergies, pregnancy, lactation, children under 3 years old.
